SPOILER FREE WALKTHROUGH

Quick (spoiler free) walkthrough: 

Yves fight number 1, to win use the Predator's Gaze attack once and then normal attack him twice. If you still didn't succeed, you got extremely unlucky with the damage roll. Lucky for you though, it hardly matters if you won or not.

- If you won, in order to advance go up to the window of the hallway with the dog soldier statues and the exit door (left of the canteen) and interact with it.

- If you lost in order to advance, you must make the lunch. You do that in the kitchen (right of the canteen, opposite to the stout statue). The ingredients are also just there, interact with the fridge and both of the cupboards top right on thr map. Then iteract with the knife on the cutting board. 

- Your health is also cut in half by the loss. You may fully heal in the showers by taking a shower. 

- You have to feed Duran and Rhash before you can find Yves, those two are still in the canteen. 

- Once you do that, Yves appears in the leftmost hallway (the one with the dog soldier statues), looking out of the window, interact with him in order to proceed. 

 NOTE: This guide does not account for any exploration of the floor, that is still encouraged, however not necessary at this point.

- In order to proceed at night, you must go through all the rooms and hallways, in the library interact with the piano and in the left hallway, interact with the exit door.

- To proceed go back to the hallway with the door to the second floor and interact with it. 

 NOTE: There is a sword lying on the floor of the shower, pick it up and equip it. Your character can  have up to two weapons equipped.

On the second floor, paths start to diverge, however before you go to the right (either top or bottom, doesn't matter) OR the Conference Hall, you should explore all the rooms on the left. 

 Important combat items are: 

 - Anxiety meds found in Rhemalus' room in his night stand. 

 - The Attack Blue Fire of Doom, learned in Rhemalus' room by reading the open book on the floor. 

 - The topmost left door leading to a stairway. Going up is locked off, going down leads you to The Cadet's Mess Hall. 

- In the trashcan here, you can find The Life Water (or something of the sort). It can be used three times and heals you fully. 

- If you then fight the Red Cadet thats roaming there, by winning, you acquire his gun and sword. Both do more damage amd the gun allows you to the strongest attack in the game. With this arsenal, you shouldn't have a problem beating any boss (you can still get unlucky, but the fights are more than possible at that point.) 

There are, of course, other ways/items that can help you beat the fights, but those will only be included in the extended version of thr walkthrough. 

NOTE: There are fights that cannot be won at all. They either result in an automatic continuation of the plot or give you an ending to signal a dead end, unless different conditions are met.
